I love looking back on wedding photos and have had fun going through Nate & Morgans wedding photos for this blog post. One of my favorite moments of the day was when we left Temple Square and out on the street. It was fun and I love the way the fountain pictures turned out, if I do say so myself. The flowers at the reception, oh I loved!
MORGAN’S FAVORITES:
MOST MEMORABLE: The wedding ceremony, being married to my sweetheart and best friend. Taking fun pictures afterward around City Creek.
DECORATION: I liked the centerpieces and the backdrop.
FUNNIEST MOMENT: When I threw the bouquet right into my “new aunt” Sue’s face.
ADVICE: Don’t stress so much about the little things on the wedding day, always remember that the important thing is that you’re marrying the one you love and everything else will be okay.
Keep it simple.
Have the ceremony later in the day so that you can jump right into the reception, if you’re having one.
NATE’S FAVORITES:
MOST MEMORABLE: The Luncheon, having the parents speak about us. Also, cutting the cake; thought it was funny when Morgan went crazy shoving the cake all over my face and tux. Lastly, I thought it was hilarious when Morgan hurled the bouquet at Sue’s face and she went ballistic.
FUNNIEST MOMENT: drove 100 yards from the reception to the carwash, didn’t let the crap stay on my car for one night.

Bridges, alleys, gondolas, food and fun summed up our two short days there. So for the pictures, I will start with one of the most famous views of the world. Oh how I miss you already.
We had to take the water Taxi, they were the coolest wood boats.
As we would walk around, there were amazing doors everywhere.

Meet the extended family, Monica, her parents and brothers family. They came from out of town and took this time to get the family pictures done. I have to say, I love photographing families that like to play and goof around, they were great! They smiled, laughed, played around and for example – this first photo I love, love, love!

Let’s begin the New Year with the fabulous brides and grooms that I met this last year. It’s hard to explain to people, but I get really attached to each and everyone of them. I get to be with them on one of the most important days of their lives. Meet their closest family and friends, experience their emotions and love with them. I really can not explain how this effects my life for the better. For example, Kris and Lindz wedding. The part of the night I get most emotional is the Father and Bride dance, to see the love of their fathers watching their little girls grow up and find love as they hand them over to the new groom. It’s a priceless moment. But at their wedding, Lindz had her mom and dad dance their first dance because they did not get that at their wedding. You could see just how important that was for them and somehow I seamed to get something in my eye. It was a special moment for me as well.
It’s funny for me, because I am a bride that took off to Las Vegas for my wedding. I do not regret it at all because that was who I was at that time but now I am the person who love weddings, everything about weddings. I am grateful to be a part of their wedding day.
LINDZ FAVORITES:
MOST MEMORABLE: There were so many but I would say one would be the daddy daughter dance because my dad cried most of the time during our song (only the second time I have EVER seen him cry so it was really special to me).
I also really loved the time we spent having every one stand up and say something to us. It was so special for Kris and I. I will also never forget what Kris said to me in his vows and the emotion he had while saying it!
DECORATION: I had two, the centerpieces and the hanging latern lights.
FUNNIEST MOMENT: This actually happened after our wedding day, when we looked through our sign in book. There were some hilarious pictures of all our friends and family! We loved watching everyone enjoy the photo booth at the reception.
ADVICE: I always told myself I wasn’t going to be exhausted on my wedding day, but there is pretty much nothing you can do about it, you will be tired, but definately get a good nights sleep. Don’t invite your bridesmaids to stay over. You’ll end up making them go sleep on the couch at 3:00 in the morning so you can get some shut eye!
HONEYMOON: We went to Florida; Orlando and Daytona Beach….we had SOOOO much fun!

To begin the celebration, I’m sharing some of my favorite photos I took in Europe (such an amazing place!)
We begin in Rome, I fell head over heels for Rome! I loved everything, even the crazy drivers, although they are nuts in Rome but there is method to their madness. They would honk their horns twice, beep-beep, and they would go regardless, so pedestrians watch out! Two lane freeways, not a problem because there is plenty of room for 4 cars wide, I think they learned by experience. It was our joke, can you imagine driving like that back in Utah? Tim just laughed and said, “No, the drivers would follow us for miles flipping us off”. It made me laugh!
Rome is very big, and everything is old with so much charm. My favorite thing is the small alleys they have all over and as we walk down them they are filled with shops, cafes, people and cars. Everywhere we walked it was amazing, just look.
The Vatican
I stood in the Sistine Chapel and looked up at the ceiling, it was magical and I could not stop staring.
There is so much to see in three short hours during our tour. When I finally took my eyes off of the walls and the ceilings, the mosaic floors were just as impressive!
As we walked out of the Sistine Chapel, we walk into St. Peters Basilica. The basilica is the burial site of its namesake Saint Peter, who was one of the twelve apostles. This is the Basilica center around the Papal Altar where only the Pope celebrates Mass. (St. Peters Basilica.org)
The end of a long day, we walked down the streets of Rome and found a cafe. All of the food was delicious.
Another day we were able to go to. . . . . Need I even say?
The Coliseum. This is what Tim was most excited to see. What surprised me the most was that this amazing structure is in the middle of a busy city.
After we left, we wanted to see more but finding a taxi was a joke. They are everywhere and all full.
Finally we made it to the Trevi fountain and thew a coin in, let’s see if my wish comes true? 
If only we had more time, I would have love to she her show, I am a big fan!
Then we had to say good bye to a city I fell in love with! Come back, Venice is next!
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday spirit this season. Now with the snow and the winter weather, it was nice to look back at the beautiful September Days and the warm summer sun. I had so much fun at their wedding, and it was so fun to see so many people, like Brandon & Meredith. A few years earlier, I was at the SL Temple shooting their wedding day, and now they have three of the cutest little girls I have ever seen! Not to mention all of the great people from my ward, I mean it, really great people! My favorite part of the wedding was watching Riley & Kelsee, he was so cute with her and they looked so in love. I had to laugh that Kelsee was getting married without her twin sister Katie there. If that was not bad enough, her brother Colton was also on his mission. So they blew up life size photos of them both, but the great part was they had them dressed as the wedding party did. Not sure how they did that, but it was great, and I think Katie & Colton had a really fun night because he caught the garter and she caught the bouquet. Thanks Riley & Kelsee for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day!
KELSEE’S FAVORITES:
MOST MEMORABLE: How Riley and I had a smile on our faces the whole day. Everything was just how we wanted it.
DECORATION: I loved it all. If I had to pick one it would be the picture table.
FUNNIEST MOMENT: When my mom and dad were dancing with the cardboard Katee and Colton. Also when I almost got a bloody nose while taking pictures. Everyone freaked out. including me.
ADVICE: Don’t stress out on the wedding day. It only happens once. Enjoy all your hard work.
HONEYMOON: Disneyland!!!!!!! So fun.
RILEY’S FAVORITES:
MOST MEMORABLE: The actual wedding ceremony.
DECORATION: The snow cone machine was pretty freaking Rad
FUNNIEST MOMENT: When Colton caught the guarder.
ADVICE: Make sure you get what you want, not what others want for your wedding.

Kelsee is so adorable, she knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding day, and it turned out beautiful! The balls hanging from the ceiling tiles looked so fun and the flowers were stunning! Let’s get to the party!

I found time to cook and decorate for Christmas, watch one of my favorite Christmas movies, “The Ultimate Gift”. I love a show that gives you a good cry and makes your heart warm, nothing is better than that. Although my kids love to make fun of me crying, I think a good happy cry is what everybody needs.
To finnish off the weekend, I meet up with Dana & Sage downtown for their Christmas photographs. I meet Dana from a good friend of mine, Susan and I have been fortunate to watch Sage grow from a little girl to almost a teenager. I have to say that these two are so fun to photograph. Sage has so much personality and to tell you the truth, she was a much needed inspiration. I love it when I get inspired for photography and she gave me that much needed spark in my soul. I can not explain the feeling that I get when I take a photograph that is just what I wanted, I get so excited, more excited than anyone I take pictures of. It’s this reason that I am obsessed with photography. She is so cute, with her Punky Brewster style and posses just came natural to her. What’s not to love?
So here is the picture that made me smile. . . . . . Yes, I love it that much.
